I Can't Decide...
Which do I need more -- the Turquoise & Silver Faux Fur Legwarmers with Pom Poms or the Purple Faux Fur Boot Sleeves?
In a perfect world I could have them both -- and lots of different colors too. *sigh*

Forget Whatever It Is That You're Thinking About Bowling Shirts
I'd take up bowling if I could find a sexy stunning vintage bowling blouse like this heavyweight red satin blouse, manufactured by Powers Athletic Wear in the mid-to-late 1940s!
As the seller, Tiddleywink, notes, this vintage blouse is similar to that worn by the woman at left of this photo from LIFE Magazine.

Contest Alert!
I'm celebrating bewitching lingerie and stockings this Halloween with exclusive sales discounts and a contest at my other blog -- maybe you'd like to enter?
Or maybe you'd just like to sit there like a pumpkin.
Hey, it's up to you; I won't force you.

Moo
A cow umbrella is whimsical on it's own; but on a sunny day as a parasol, it's whimsy times two.

Hello, Hello, Can You Hear Me Now, Kitty?
Good. The kitty can hear me; now, can I dial? I'm trying to decide which Hello Kitty stylus to get... Sooo many cute choices! But I'm thinking this one with the Swarovski crystals is the cat's meow!

Fashion Passion For Cashin
If you were wondering why last year's Bonni Cashin Collection from Coach looked so mod, the designer also worked for the cashmere manufacturer Ballantyne of Peebles (click here for the rest of the exhibit). Oh, and also check out the Bonnie Cashin Coach time line.

"M" Is For Marilyn, Moda, & Moaning
We all know the story of Marilyn Monroe, how her name was created to make her the Mmmmm Girl, well now you can officially add Moda, a brand of DiLiddo & Perego, to the list of things to moan over -- or perhaps even things to moan upon. (Click the photos for much larger images -- to see all the details!)
Beautiful hand painted furniture for your Mmmm Girl Boudoir!
More info on the Marilyn Collection available at Imagine Living -- which carries Moda too!
PS If Marilyn isn't your design scheme, how about these other Moda "Prince" chairs?
Comic & Flower armchairs.

A Whole New Meaning To "Ball Of Your Foot"
Oh the irony that these ultra mod retro black shoes are by Shy (K.Shinada Original)! Gigantic balls sit atop the squared-toes with raised pyramid point vamps, just so you don't miss them *wink*

They aren't just for Halloween, but 'tis the season to get your creepy baking list in order *wink*

Ye Gods! I Want This Vintage Silver Tortolani Bracelet
Maybe I should have said "My Stars!" I want this bracelet because the figures depict all 12 signs of the zodiac -- but since astrology oft includes the gods, I guess the post title is close enough.
Made by Tortolani in the 50s or 60s, this is a stunning piece of vintage costume jewelry! As the seller says, this 2-inch wide bracelet is "not for the shy or demure." Further proof that I should have it *wink*
